NASA Artemis I Launch event at Kings Academy

The JSSOAR program will be hosting a livestreaming event at Kings academy to celebrate and view the Artemis I Launch as a NASA collaborative event. We will be hosting different booths with activities by us and our partners with an expected audience of 600+ mostly of under-served communities in Jordan.

300 Tomatosphere™ seeds for students.

The JSSOAR program has been gifted 300 Tomatosphere™ seeds from the International Space Station (ISS) to help underserved communities in learn how tomatoes grow in regular versus zero gravity environments.

We Have Our Astronaut!

The JSSOAR team is proud to announce the arrival of NASA Astronaut Victor Glover and his wife, Dionna Odom Glover to the country of Jordan for a variety of presentations on August 11th and 12th.

K-12 Curriculum and STEM Kits Complete.

Our team of highly devoted staff and volunteers in the Education Subdivision finalized the completion of a STEM curriculum for students K-12 implementing the improvement of student access to opportunities in aerospace and STEM fields. The JSSOAR K-12 “Mission to Mars Module” allows students to follow through specific designed lesson plans, mentorship opportunities, and presentations from world-class experts and teachers. In this module, students will have the opportunity to learn sample handling, space suit analysis, spacecraft construction, and overall life on Mars as an astronaut.

The Team is heading to Jordan.

We have selected a small group of leaders to travel to Jordan and implement the resources JSSOAR’s team has created.
